According to Fredrickson (2004) Broaden and Build theory, Positive emotions allow more resources and resilience, but Negative emotions constrict the mind.

Don't feed the Negative Emotion Cycle.

Be aware of the Negative Emotions, Feel them, Understand them, Learn from them, Accept them and then Move away from them.

Our emotions are there to guide us, use them in a beneficial way, but don't get stuck in the cycle.
